This is a beautiful, large 25-inch antique German porcelain-headed doll, dating from the late 19th Century to the very early 1900s (circa 1890–1910).
This stunning character doll features a finely molded, painted blonde hairstyle and beautifully detailed painted blue eyes with a classic closed mouth.
Construction & Details:
• Head: Molded porcelain shoulder-head. Completely unmarked, which is common for early factory lines or contract pieces out of the Thuringia region
• Body: Stuffed commercial cloth torso.
• Limbs: High-quality porcelain lower extremities, including half-arms/hands and full lower legs extending up to the knee.
• Footwear: Features classic, solid hand-painted black boots without accent bands.
• Clothing: Outfitted in a beautiful, period-correct cream-colored dress featuring delicate eyelet lace embroidery details. These are her under cloths
